It's been too long!

It has been way too long since I have done an update! Things have just been crazy with work, keeping up with homework, etc.

• I earned my ears on February 7th! Meaning I could work by myself!
• Turned 21 on the 18th of February! Went to Chili's at midnight and had a margarita. Then went out to Cowboys which is a country bar and did some line dancing.
• Received flowers form Thailand on the 21st from my best friend in the entire world! (My husband!)
• Attended Grocery BINGO on February 27th, but didn't win. Was close those a few times
• Had some housing issues, but those have been resolved!
• Had my first Exploring Disney Heritage Class on Wednesday February 29th.
• Went to Magic Kingdom for a few hours on February for the One More Disney Day since this year there was a leap year and Magic Kingdom was open for 24 hours.
• The weather here has been crazy! Windy, then rain, then sunny, blistering hot, then cold. It is crazy!
• Working like crazy and keeping up with homework.
• Today we have hit the halfway mark for Nic coming home!! WOOHOO!! I CANNOT WAIT!!
• I have already picked out a dress that I want to wear for homecoming, but I still have to try it on.

Saturday: I arrived into Orlando, late Saturday night and headed over to the hotel my mom and I were staying at since it was close to where I needed to check in for the program.

Sunday: Slept in since I was still on CA time and wasn't tired. Had lunch, met my roommate and went to the Outlets to get my ring fixed and made a few purchases. Then I met a few other CP's and went to dinner at Applebee's.

Monday morning began at 3:00AM, got ready. Then Shelby & I made it to where we needed to with the help of an amazing friend. Stood in line until 7ish when they let us into the complex. Check-in beta, got on the bus to go to Casting and found out where I would be working. Animal Kingdom- Asia Operations. I will find out hopefully on Thursday where I will be working. Today I had the day off, did some grocery shopping, sent my mom off to the airport and homework. Tonight there is a meet and greet party, but I don't know if I am going to go or not.  Tomorrow I have traditions, then free rest of the day.

Update!

It has been a while since I have updated! December 13th to be exact was the last day I posted on here. There has been some things that have been going on since I last posted.

* I have a new roommate! Her name is Shelby and she is from Colorado. I am so excited to be rooming with her. We have a lot in common and she seems like a sweet girl.
*My old roommate is still going to be living with us. Actually there are 6 of us girls total living together. Shelby & I seem more compatible with each other than our other roommates and we didn't mind switching. Living in my apartment it will be: Cassie & Shelby, Adriana & Samantha, Noresa& Mari.
* I am down to 2 weeks (14) days until I am in Orlando! My mom and I will be leaving San Diego Saturday afternoon, and we will arrive in Orlando around 11:00 PM (local time)
* I have met some great people already, and we aren't even down in Florida yet! I am excited to meet all of my new friends and start this journey with them. I just wish I could be embarking on this journey with my love. But I know he will be there with me in spirit every step of the way!
* I have started a Youtube Channel, but there is nothing on it yet. I will make my first video this next week and I will continue (hopefully) keep it up-to-date with snippets from what I am doing down there.

That is it for now. I probably should get back to organizing/deciding what to bring with me to FL.

Roommate

I finally have a roommate! She seems like a pretty sweet young lady and I think we will get along well.
Only 46 days until I move to Florida and start my new adventure with Walt Disney World!

I am that much closer to getting to Walt Disney World and starting an opportunity of a lifetime. I have the get through the next two weeks of school and I will be closer to enjoying my winter break and preparing for my move.

Congratulations!

I finally was accepted into the Disney College Program, after three tries. It is has been a dream of mine to work for such a prestigious company like Disney and finally it is my turn. 


When I found out I got accepted to go, I was so excited, but until I found out it was in Florida. I was devestated. I would be moving approximately 8 states away, where I would know no one and be in a completely different time zone from my family and friends. Another thing that kept me from wanting to accept the offer was that I would be missing my best friends (my husband) homecoming. But we decided, this is the perfect time for me to do this internship and there might possibly not be another chance for me to do this. 


I am very excited to be given the opportunity to work at Walt Disney World and I am excited to say that I will be working as an Attraction Host. I won't find out where I will be placed until I get to Florida in January sometime. 


I'm currently in the process in looking for a roommate and I will be choosing my arrival/departure date in the next few days.
